Augustów, 12 th March 2018
State Primary Music School of Emil Młynarski in Augustów invites students and teachers to participating in the 6th International Piano Competition – Augustów 2018, which will take place from the 9th to 11th of April. The competition received a recommendation of the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage as well as the honorary patronage of the Marshall of Podlaskie Voivodhip and the
Mayor of Augustów.
Auditions will be conducted from the 9th o 11h of April at the Concert Hall of the State Primary Music Shool of Emil Młynarski in Augustów, at 1 Wybickiego Street. Performances of the the participants in the respective categories will begin from the letter F taken by lot. Performers will have an access to the Yamaha concert piano. The participants wil be appraised by the Jury, apointed by the Director of the Department of Artistic Schools and Cultural Education of the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage, will consist of the following members:
the chairman – prof. Andrzej Tatarski ( Music Academy in Poznań), prof. Alicja Paleta – Bugaj (Music University of Frederic Chopin in Warsaw), prof. Tatiana Szewczenko (Music Academy of Odessa, Ukraine), prof. Grzegorz Kurzyński (Music Academy in Wrocław), prof. Robert Marat (Music Academy in Łódź).
Schedule of o the auditions:
1st and 2nd categories – April 9th, 2018
3rd and 4h categories round 1 – April 10th, 2018
3rd and 4th categories round 2 – April 11th, 2018
Inaugural Concert performed by Mr. Łukasz Krupiński, semifinalist of the 17th International Piano Competition in Warsaw in 2015 will take place on the 9th of April at 7.30 pm at the Stata Music School of Emil Młynarski in Augustów. Handing of the awards in first and second category will take place after the Inaugural Concert.
Concert of Prize Winners and handing the awards in third and fourh category will take place on April 11th. Laureates appointed by the Jury will perform mini recitals in Żelazowa Wola.
